Sarah turned 8 weeks old today. She's been smiling a bit since about 5 1/2 weeks, but it's hard to catch with a camera yet. She is really getting chubby! In the last month she's received her "Grandma Ann quilt," had her first camping trip, met friends from Wisconsin, and celebrated her Grandpa Kilcup's 70th birthday.

Twenty of our 110 toes. Sarah's chubby feet, and Bethany's pedicured ones.
I remember holding Sarah's little feet after she was born thinking, it won't be long before these skinny baby feet will be chubby. They grow soooo fast!

Sarah, like her Daddy, enjoys a nap in a hammock in the woods.
We camped in the Grand Canyon campground.

Ben, Hudson and Elli, all earned a Junior Ranger badge by filling out a workbook about the CCC, the Civilian Conservation Corps. Do you know what the CCC did? They do!
Biking was the main activity while we were at the Grand Canyon. Wait til you see how we got all the bikes there! (You'll see below.)
We had some visitors at our campsite. Five bull elk wandered in, looking for good eats.

I just had to put Sarah in this cute outfit. I didn't think it would still fit her by the time it's cool enough in Phoenix to wear it!
Oh yes, Bethany and Grant had birthday parties the same weekend. Grant, boys and dads celebrated with a birthday campout (they didn't take a camera though). Bethany had an all girls sleepover, with makeovers, pedicures and Ann of Green Gables.
